PEOPLE SAVERS 1.0
DESCRIPTION
People Savers are screen savers with a higher purpose--providing
a spiritual uplift to people. The Banner screen saver scrolls
one of 366 Bible verses from the New International Version across
the screen from right to left. The Cross screen saver displays a
cross in varying colors with different colored backgrounds. Both
screen savers have password protection as an option.
INSTALLATION
Copy all the files to your main Windows directory (usually
c:\windows). You also need to download the vbrun300.dll file and
copy this file to your c:\windows\system directory. To run the
screen savers, click on the control panel in the main program group.
Click on the desktop icon. Select either Banner or Cross as the
screen saver. Click on the setup button if you want to change any
of the options.
REGISTRATION
People Savers are supplied as shareware. You may register them for
$15 plus $3 shipping. Michigan residents must add sales tax. In
return, you get more screen savers: (1) People Saver scrolls up Bible
verses from the bottom to the top of the screen. 366 verses are
available in either the King James or the New International Version.
Verses from the KJV are also made available for the Banner screen
saver. (2) Cross1 displays crosses on the screen in random colors at
random locations. (3) Bible trivia scrolls one of 1200 challenging
multiple choice Bible questions on the screen. You may test your
knowledge by pressing a, b, c or d. Any other key or mouse movement
ends the program.
Order from ROCKware, Box 21, Bronson, MI 49028.
Or call 1 - 800 - 243 - 7124 for Visa or Mastercard orders.
HOW TO UNINSTALL
If you ever want to remove the People Savers from your system,
remove these files from your main Windows directory (usually
c:\windows): loader.exe banner.scr cross.scr readme.txt
twb.txt verses.niv
You may also want to remove the vbrun300.dll file from your
c:\windows\system directory, but it is quite possible that you have
or will acquire other programs that use this file.
